Shipping policy
We currently only deliver within South Africa via our trusted courier partners.
Once your order is placed, our team wraps it with care, and aims to dispatch it within 1-3 working days from when the order was placed. You will receive a notification via email once your order is on the way with your tracking number, and a link to easily track your order online.
Please note: During busy periods such as holiday season promotions, our turnaround time can take slightly longer. You will be notified if this is the case.
STANDARD DELIVERY
For orders under R650, we offer a standard courier service of R100 to main cities and towns, and R130 for out-lying areas and farm addresses. For these out-lying areas we utilise a third-party courier service that delivers to a collection point closest to you.
FREE DELIVERY
We offer FREE delivery within South Africa for all orders with a total of more than R850.
DELIVERY TIMES
Standard delivery to main cities and towns takes between 3 and 4 working days and all other areas between 4 to 7 working days.
Once your order is scheduled for delivery, we are unable to make any changes. Please double-check that your delivery address details are correct at checkout. Should you enter the wrong address, unfortunately, we will need to re-charge for delivery if your order is returned to us. Should an order be returned to us undelivered, we’ll inform you of this and we can either re-charge for delivery and resend your order or we can process a refund, deducting the shipping costs.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Once your order is scheduled for delivery, we’ll send you an order confirmation email which will include your tracking number. Some email service providers consider these automated emails as spam, so please check your spam folder in case the message has ended up there. Using your tracking number, you can track your order on the Order Tracking page every step of the way.
SIGNING FOR DELIVERIES
When you’ve placed your order, you’ll be asked for a physical address that is normally occupied during office hours. Please note that we cannot deliver to a PO Box address. Please include a mobile number in case The Courier Guy needs to reach you. If you have any specific delivery times or instructions (within regular office hours / business days / delivery times and areas), then please include at checkout under notes. The Courier Guy will require a signature for the delivery of your order. The standard hours of delivery are between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. If The Courier Guy is unable to complete a delivery at the address specified, either due to an incorrect delivery address or the unavailability of yourself or assigned persons to accept your order, within regular delivery times, we may at our discretion charge a delivery fee (equal to or lower than our standard delivery charges) for the subsequent delivery of your order.
LOST ORDER
If you feel your order has been lost in transit, please contact us with your order number so that we can get this sorted out as soon as possible for you.
RECEIVED INCORRECT ITEM
Mistakes happen! Should you receive an incorrect item, please contact us. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent out to you immediately and collect the incorrect item when we deliver the correct item to you.
